When we had the random woman living with us that first week, she told me about the heads along the Seine. And then, on a walk one day, I discovered what she meant. Apparently, there are heads of all of the explorers who discovered or "discovered" lands far far away. I couldn't find Christophe Colomb (good ol' Columbus) but rumor has it, he's there.
Super creepy. In Louisville, there were random heads on some street corners but I don't think they were historical. They were just...from Kentucky.
